His Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, Mayor of Riyadh Region, received at his office His Excellency Mr. Metin Mirzayev, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, along with the accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the two sides emphasized the deep-rooted relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Azerbaijan. His Highness also congratulated the Ambassador on Azerbaijan’s successful hosting of the thirteenth session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in the city of Baku.
The meeting also explored opportunities to build cooperation between Riyadh and Baku and identify areas of partnership that could deliver mutual benefits, in addition to strengthening joint coordination in the organization of cultural events.
