Housing Program
The Housing Program aims to provide innovative housing solutions and financing options to enable Saudi families to own or benefit from suitable homes that align with their needs and financial capabilities. The program focuses on increasing the supply of housing units by implementing high-quality projects at reasonable costs and within shorter timelines. It also dedicates housing solutions to the most vulnerable groups in society.
The program seeks to enhance the regulatory and legislative environment for the housing sector to boost its economic impact, increase its attractiveness to the private sector, and promote local content development. These efforts include creating job opportunities in the sector and enhancing its contribution to the GDP.

Housing Support Request Service
This is an electronic service provided by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, enabling citizens to apply for housing support lists free of charge. The service verifies applicants' eligibility for support and identifies the qualified beneficiaries. It also allows citizens to calculate the amount of housing support they may receive, whether for ready housing units, under-construction units, or housing loans, using the "Housing Support Calculator" service.You can explore the available services through the following link
Developmental Housing
This initiative, launched by the Ministry in collaboration with charitable associations and organizations, aims to provide housing support for the most needy families in society. The program focuses on offering housing units to families under the care of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, fostering social solidarity and community development.
Ownership and Utilization System
This system provides housing support for eligible beneficiaries, enabling them to own subsidized housing provided by the Ministry or the private sector, in accordance with specific regulations. The utilization option allows beneficiaries to receive housing support for use without the possibility of inheritance after death.
Supportive Housing Programs and Platforms
Affordable Housing
This initiative aims to provide suitable homes for the most needy families, particularly social security beneficiaries. It is implemented in collaboration with nonprofit and private sectors under social responsibility programs.
Developmental Housing
This program provides housing units for the most vulnerable families registered through the "Sakani" portal. The available options include:
Ready housing units across various regions of the Kingdom.
Construction of new housing units.
Purchasing suitable housing units.
Partnerships have been established with approximately 300 charitable associations across all provinces to ensure prompt fulfillment of families' needs. These associations handle tasks such as visiting families, identifying suitable housing, overseeing delivery processes, and managing housing units.
Housing for the elderly
Social Care Homes
These homes aim to shelter and care for citizens aged 60 and above who are unable to meet their needs due to aging or illness, or when their families cannot provide the necessary care. Services offered include:
Social, medical, and psychological care.
Cultural, professional, recreational, and sports activities.
Specialized teams oversee these services to ensure all resident needs are met.
Conditions for Admission to Social Care Homes:
The applicant must be a Saudi citizen.
They must be 60 years old or above (exceptions are made for those below 60 if a social investigation confirms the need for care).
They must be free from infectious or psychological illnesses that may pose a threat to others.
Their family must be unable to provide the required care.
