The Riyadh Municipality published a summary of the most prominent operations of the Joint Operations Room to address the neighborhoods of central Riyadh during the period from October 26, 2021 to August 16, 2022.
That period witnessed seizures, closures, and confiscations, with the participation of 14 government agencies working according to an integrated framework to correct the situation of the neighborhoods of central Riyadh.
The authorities' efforts during that period included closing 1,835 sites, notifying 2,996 others, and visiting 7,200 sites.
During those visits, according to the Al-Amanah Twitter account, 5,072 violating workers were seized, 6,715 tons of foodstuffs were confiscated, 26,018 kilograms of unfit foodstuffs were destroyed, 145 vehicles were impounded, and 5,879 suspected SIM cards were confiscated.
