As part of its continuous efforts to enhance digital community participation, the Riyadh Municipality has launched a new online consultation that enables residents of the capital to share their opinions and contribute to improving the Municipality’s operations and the quality of urban life. The consultation will run from December 5 to December 23, 2025.

The consultation aims to gather residents’ views on the most effective ways to involve them in the Municipality’s work whether in daily operational interventions or in determining the types of projects implemented across neighborhoods. The available options include operational interventions such as cleanliness, tree planting, and addressing irregular urban appearances; pre-planning for new municipal projects; monitoring the quality of existing services; and participating in proposing community initiatives for neighborhoods—all contributing to better services and an improved urban environment.

Participation is available via the “Tafaul” platform, a national digital platform dedicated to community engagement initiatives in Saudi Arabia. It collects public opinions and suggestions to enhance mechanisms for involving residents in municipal decision-making, strengthen transparency, and promote effective community partnership that aligns with the city’s needs and ensures residents’ satisfaction.
