Riyadh Municipality, represented by Shaqra Municipality, is participating in "Shaqra Pepper Festival 2025," held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Riyadh Region. The festival is an agricultural and entertainment event aimed at promoting the local pepper product and encouraging related processing industries. It draws wide participation from farmers, productive families, and both governmental and private entities.

Shaqra Municipality is providing comprehensive logistical support, including cleaning, maintenance, landscaping, and preparing the festival grounds. Additionally, it is offering a European-style hospitality tent and an awareness booth to highlight the municipality’s services and its role in serving the local community.

The festival features 42 booths within the exhibition area for farmers to showcase and sell their local pepper products. There are also booths for government institutions, non-profit organizations, and participating productive families from outside the region. The event includes artistic performances, a children's theater, and entertainment competitions targeting all members of the community.

The festival serves as a platform to raise public awareness about the importance of local pepper and its role in supporting the agricultural economy. It also contributes to creating seasonal job opportunities, increasing the income of productive families, and boosting local tourism in Shaqra.
