“Hayakom Fe Haykom” covers 30 neighborhoods in the capital

It has been launched “Hayakom fe Haykom” initiative, organized by Riyadh Municipality in partnership with Saudi Telecom Company (STC) in neighborhoods’ gardens, aiming to enhance community awareness of gardens and environment preservation ,which will cover 30 neighborhoods, while it has been started by Al Monsiya , Al Yasameen ,and then Al Izdihar neighborhoods. 

Eng. Ibrahim bin Nasser Al-Huwaimel, Director General of Parks and Social Services in Riyadh Municipality said that initiative idea of "Hayakom fe Haykom" is to reach directly to population by activating park inside neighborhood, and involving them in one of our important programs which is contribution in preserving the garden, which is one of environment enhanced humanization element of the city ,and activating social role of neighborhood residents, to benefit from the garden and its elements, in addition opening membership of "Awen" voluntary program, to register those who are interested in preserving neighborhood environment, and activating “Fe Khedmatekom” application to neighborhood people.

Eng. Al-Huwaimel added that launch of “Hayakom fe Haykom” initiative comes with support and keenness of His Excellency Eng. Tarek bin Abdulaziz Al-Faris, Mayor of Riyadh Region, to pay attention to residents of Riyadh City and to raise awareness of parks importance and neighborhood’s  environment in our lives for all members of the family, with social participation of (STC) company.

Therefore, Riyadh Municipality sought to find interesting, encouraging and entertainment activities to welcome everyone with hospitality to promote concept of walking and to introduce its importance to benefit from pedestrian sidewalks within neighborhoods and parks to promote public health among neighborhood residents. The activities included children's activities like flowers drawings, and seedlings plantation and defining its types and ways of preserving them.
