Eng. Abdul Latif bin Abdul Malik Al-Sheikh, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs has signed contracts for 15 new municipal projects at cost of 900 million riyals.
These projects, which were distributed in Riyadh, Madinah and Eastern Region, are related to rainwater drainage, fire hazards, streets paving and maintenance, landscaping and maintenance of pedestrian parks and walkways, promotion of environmental health services, maintenance and operation of lighting networks, Municipal and public utilities, and advisory services.
The new municipal projects in Riyadh included operation and maintenance of developed sites in Riyadh city, maintenance and restoration of Municipality's facilities, supervision of control works in Municipality and sub-municipalities (phase IV) ,and maintenance of streets and sidewalks in north of Riyadh.
Signing contracts of these projects comes in framework of interest of Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs to meet the needs of citizens for municipal projects and services in all regions, provinces and cities of the Kingdom.
