Sports Boulevard Project is one of Saudi Arabia’s mega-projects launched under Vision 2030. It aims to promote a healthy lifestyle in Riyadh by providing an integrated infrastructure for sports and recreation. The project stretches for approximately 135 kilometers, from Wadi Hanifah in the west to Wadi Al-Sulai in the east, passing through various districts of the city to form an urban, cultural, and environmental link across Riyadh. The project consists of nine main zones, offering diverse features including sports, environmental, artistic, and recreational areas. It hosts more than 50 sports facilities, in addition to walking, cycling, and equestrian paths, green spaces, educational gardens, cultural venues, and a major entertainment hub. A highlight of the project is a 130-meter sports tower featuring the world’s tallest climbing wall. Moreover, the project includes over 4 million square meters of green areas and 120,000 trees, along with extensive investment and commercial zones. The Sports Boulevard represents a pivotal step in improving quality of life, achieving sustainable development in the capital, and strengthening Riyadh’s position as a global, attractive, and healthy city.
