Riyadh Municipality, represented by the Central Sector and in collaboration with the Municipal Compliance Program “Mithl,” conducted field inspection tours of public health establishments, including cloud kitchens and fast-food restaurants. The campaign resulted in the issuance of 43 violations as part of the Municipality’s ongoing efforts to enhance compliance with health and municipal requirements, strengthen market oversight, verify the safety of food products and meals provided to consumers, and protect public health during the summer season.
The recorded violations included deterioration in the quality of frying oil, failure to wear gloves while preparing food, failure to cover food prepared for cooking, storing products in unsuitable locations, accumulation of waste, expired business licences, and carrying out activities outside the authorised boundaries of the establishment.
These efforts form part of the Municipality’s continuous work to promote public health, improve compliance with regulatory and health requirements and applicable regulations, and support its vision of becoming a leading municipality for a prosperous and sustainable Riyadh that enhances quality of life.
