Elderly Care
The Government of Saudi Arabia places great emphasis on improving elderly care services through the implementation of various initiatives. The National Platform also provides an overview of the rights of the elderly and its four basic principles, in addition to social care homes and their admission criteria, as well as the activities and services available to them. The platform highlights the non-profit organization "Waqr," which focuses on supporting the elderly, as well as the services launched by the Ministry of Health for this group, including the "Taqdeer" service launched by the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
