iyadh Municipality has launched a periodic meeting initiative with engineering and consulting firms to strengthen communication, exchange expertise, and discuss key topics within the sector. The initiative aims to enhance the quality of engineering outputs, improve procedural efficiency, and support the urban development objectives of the city of Riyadh.
The first meeting held under the initiative reviewed the building supervision journey, starting from the issuance of a building permit through to obtaining the occupancy certificate. The meeting highlighted the roles and responsibilities of the relevant parties, as well as the importance of complying with technical and regulatory requirements to ensure construction quality and building safety.
The meeting also highlighted best practices in the field of building supervision and provided an open platform for dialogue with engineering and consulting firms. Participants exchanged views and proposals aimed at developing work procedures and enhancing the efficiency of engineering supervision of buildings across the capital.
