H.R.H Prince Faisal Bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, opened yesterday evening the administrative center in Sulay district, which was established by Riyadh Municipality in east of the capital, near intersection of eastern ring road and Abu Obaida ibn al-Jarrah road in the east, in attendance of H.E. Dr. Walid bin Mohammed Al-Sama'ani, Minister of Justice, H.E. Eng. Ibrahim Bin Mohammed Al-Sultan, Mayor of Riyadh Region, H.E. Eng. Tarek bin Abdul Aziz Al-Faris, Deputy Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, H.E. Dr. Ghanem Al-Mohammadi, Minister Assistant of Municipal and Rural Affairs, and number of officials.
H.R.H Riyadh Governor said in a statement to media that establishment of administrative centers with a leading civilizational dimension is a fruit of one of seeds planted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz ,the leader of the proper administrative approach, appreciating Riyadh Municipality effort in establishing the administrative center in Sulay , for what it represents of a civilized interface in which services are integrated for optimal service of Riyadh residents.
He continued: "The administrative center is an integrated city characterized by design and careful planning, taking into account the aesthetic aspects of place and smoothness of movement, so it is one of the advanced civilizational projects that we are keen citizens to take advantage of their services and avoid abuse in any way.
For his part, Eng. Ibrahim Bin Mohammed Al-Sultan, Mayor of Riyadh Region said that the establishment of administrative centers comes in accordance with directives of the wise leadership, which emphasizes the importance of providing all services and facilitating them to residents, Therefore, centers unify the spatial scope of service facilities, and take into account the closing services to residents of Riyadh city, to facilitate its benefit, pointing out that Riyadh Municipality is in the process of completing new 5 administrative centers, which will contribute to hasten coordination between various authorities ,which are concerned with serving residents of Riyadh City.
It is worth mentioning that administrative center in Sulay district is one of the 5 administrative centers implemented by the Riyadh Municipality, while center includes a number of buildings for 13 governmental bodies, including in Sulay Sub-Municipality district, General Directorate of Traffic, General Directorate of Passports, Civil Defense Directorate, Riyadh Police, Civil Affaires Ageny, General Presidency of Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice Commission, Red Crescent Authority, Ministry of Justice, Court, Health Center and National Water Company, in addition to 2 dedicated investment buildings, while center is located on an area of more than 124000 m2.
