His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region confirmed that name of King Salman bin Abdulaziz - May God Protect Him- will be launched on the global Gardens which will be opened soon in the capital, noting that these gardens will be on a very high level ,with indication to our level of civilization and cultural heritage.
His Highness said in a statement after the opening of 10 Gardens yesterday evening through Riyadh Municipality plans to strengthen the human principal of Riyadh city, "These services are datum for this country ,which should be praised ,and appreciating the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques , the Crown Prince and the Deputy Crown Prince, who encourage and direct us to create sites on high level ,to promote the service provided to citizen and resident in any place. "
HRH viewed that districts’ gardens, which have been rehabilitated in Riyadh, have reached to 400 Parks, revealing that work is continuing to rehabilitate and create another 4,000 park inside districts soon, for the service and comfort of residents.
HRH stressed on the importance of deterring the properties abusers, stressing that it will not be tolerated these abuses, which described by HRH by “limited”, calling on residents to cooperate in detecting and reporting of each who abuse with these properties which are of public money, and ordering Municipality to hire security companies to work on maintaining these gardens and to help the security men ,who will apply strict sanctions against all those who abuse properties and tampering with security and peace of people.
Prince of Riyadh viewed that the concerned authorities are continuing in preparing for the Riyadh Summer Festival, to present a festival befitting the capital and its residents and visitors.
On the other hand, Eng. Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al-Sultan ,the Mayor of Riyadh Region expressed his thanks and appreciation for the honor of the attendance of His Royal Highness Prince of Riyadh Region, in opening the 10 gardens in Riyadh.
Al-Sultan noted that the ten gardens are separated over the regions of the capital, including 3 parks in the north of Riyadh which are: The Second Al-Ezdehar Garden, located on Imam Saud bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed road, which has an area of 14,000 square meters, Al-Nozha Park with an area of 5,000 square meters, and Commercial Chamber Park with an area of 16,000 square meters.
Mayor of Riyadh Region pointed out that it has been rehabilitated 3 parks in West and Centre of Riyadh, which are: Al-Wadi Park with an area of more than 50,000 square meters, where it has been enclosed by a fence in geometric manner, and it has been maintained more than 100 palm planted previously, and it has been added a number of walking sides and Games areas, in accordance with the population density in the area, Al-Kandeel Park in Rabwah district ,which exceeds an area of 12,300 square meters, and Western Al –Sewedi Park with an area exceeding of 5,400 square meters.
In the east of Riyadh, it has been rehabilitated 2 parks, which are: Ashbeliya Park, which exceeds an area of 13,600 square meters, and Al-Tarf Park with an area exceeding of 24,000 square meters.
In the south of the capital, it has been rehabilitated 2 parks: Manfouha Park with an area of about 10,000 square meters, and Istanbul Park in Al-Fayha’a district with an area of more than 8,700 square meters.
He pointed out that all parks which have been rehabilitated include all services, such as toilets, mosques, hiking trails, children's games, in addition to providing adequate parking spaces in the large parks.
