Riyadh Governor inaugurates second phase of Prince Turki Al-Awal Road Development Project
H.R.H. Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, has inaugurated Wednesday the second phase of Prince Turki bin Abdulaziz Al-Awal Road development project, H.R.H. has laid corner stone for Al-Orouba Road Bridge at intersection with Prince Turki Al-Awal Road with implementation of Riyadh Municipality.
In a statement to media, His Highness Governor of Riyadh said: "The city of Riyadh is witnessing rapid growth and development, referring to excellent and civilized establishment by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, while pioneering projects in roads are progressed in accordance with specific plans and within their time frame, which are being implemented by Riyadh Municipality and Supreme Authority for Development of Riyadh City, with high accuracy and quality. "
“Prince Turki Al-Awal Road Development Project is one of the most important road projects and will ensure traffic smooth flow in Riyadh city. These projects are in line with the directives of the wise leadership to make the city a civilized destination according to international standards.” H.R.H. said.
The second stage of project, which was inaugurated by His Highness, included the development of Prince Turki road with a length of 1350 meters, from the borders of the first phase (south) to the end of the project boundary (north) before its intersection with King Abdullah Road, which included establishing of full serviced tunnel in intersection with Al Orouba road with length of 800 meters, and has been completed in a period not exceeding 12 months.
